The listing was on the market for 9 months, and was delayed when the seller passed away during the process, and his son became trustee to conclude the transaction.

Founded in 1996, the company manufactures custom cabinet doors, bar backs, and drawer fronts from all types of wood. Their primary customers include cabinet makers, builders and individuals for remodeling their cabinets. The business is well known for its quality of workmanship and responsiveness for custom orders.

The buyer is a long-term manufacturing manager who had used company’s products, and became interested in owning his own manufacturing business, and was patient through a series of issues that had to be overcome: the business seller passed away during the sale, and had to produce a deed for the property from scratch (which was part of a large acre parcel, and had not been platted). Working with our transaction attorney, we were able to overcome the issues and delays, and maintained interest from the buyer.
